Affiliate Programme Rules
Bargain Breeze Affiliate Programme Rules
Last updated: 9 July 2026
These Rules govern the Bargain Breeze affiliate programme (the "Programme"). The Programme is run by Bargain Breeze (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2021/849056/07 ("Bargain Breeze", "we", "us"). "You" means the person or business accepted as an affiliate.
By applying to the Programme, using an affiliate tracking link, or accepting any commission, you agree to these Rules. If you do not agree, do not take part.
1. What the Programme is
1.1 You promote Bargain Breeze products using a tracking link we give you. When a customer buys through your link and the sale is validated under clause 5, you earn a commission.
1.2 This is a trial. We are running the Programme for an initial period of roughly 60 to 90 days and will review it as we go. We may extend it, change it, pause it, or close it at any time under clause 9.
1.3 The Programme is free to join. We will never ask you to pay a fee, buy stock, buy a starter pack, or send us money to take part or to stay in. Money only ever flows from us to you. Anyone asking you to pay to join Bargain Breeze is not us.
2. You are independent, not an employee
2.1 You take part as an independent promoter. Nothing in these Rules creates a relationship of employment, agency, partnership, joint venture or franchise between you and Bargain Breeze.
2.2 You are not entitled to any salary, wage, retainer, benefit, leave, UIF, pension, medical cover, bonus or fixed payment. The only money you can earn is commission on validated sales.
2.3 You decide whether, when, how, how often and where you promote. We do not set hours, targets, quotas or methods. We do not supervise, manage, train, coach, mentor or direct you, and we are under no obligation to provide support, guidance, materials or hand-holding of any kind beyond a tracking link. You work entirely on your own initiative.
2.4 You provide and pay for everything you use to promote. This includes your own phone, computer and devices, your own internet and data, your own software and accounts, your own advertising, and your own home or premises to work from. We provide none of this and we reimburse nothing.
2.5 You are free to promote other businesses and products, including our competitors. The Programme is non-exclusive on both sides.
2.6 You may not describe yourself as an employee, agent, representative or spokesperson of Bargain Breeze. You may not enter into any contract, make any promise, or take on any obligation in our name or on our behalf.
2.7 This Programme is for promoters who can work independently and drive their own traffic. We provide a tracking link and these Rules, and nothing more. If you cannot take part without being trained, managed or walked through the basics, this Programme is not for you, and needing that level of support is itself a ground for us to remove you under clause 9.4.
3. Your tax is your own
3.1 Any commission you earn is your own income. You are solely responsible for declaring it to SARS and for paying any tax due on it, including registering as a provisional taxpayer if your circumstances require it.
3.2 Bargain Breeze does not withhold or pay PAYE, UIF, SDL or any other tax on your behalf, because you are not an employee.
3.3 If you are registered for VAT, you must invoice us correctly and the commission figures in these Rules are treated as VAT inclusive. If you are not registered for VAT, the commission is simply paid to you in full.
3.4 We keep records of commissions paid and may be required to report payments to SARS. You agree to give us the details we reasonably need to do this and to pay you.
4. Commission
4.1 The commission rate is 20% of the product value of a validated order placed through your tracking link.
4.2 "Product value" means the price of the products in the order after any discount or coupon, and excludes delivery or courier charges, and excludes VAT where applicable.
4.3 Commission is only earned on the qualifying order defined by our tracking. It is not earned on repeat or later purchases by the same customer unless those purchases are themselves tracked to your link.
4.4 Your own purchases, and orders you place for yourself, family or associates, do not earn commission.
5. Tracking, validation and clawback
5.1 Sales are tracked automatically through our affiliate system using your unique link and a 30-day tracking cookie on a last-click basis. Attribution is automatic. We do not make manual adjustments or reassign sales after the fact.
5.2 Our system records are the record of your sales and commission. Where those records and your own differ, ours apply unless there is an obvious error.
5.3 A sale is only validated, and commission only becomes payable, once all of the following have happened, in order:
(a) the customer has paid in full and the payment has cleared;
(b) the goods have been dispatched to the customer;
(c) the goods have been received by the customer; and
(d) 14 days have passed since delivery without the order being cancelled, returned, refunded or the subject of a damage, shortage or cooling-off claim. This 14-day buffer covers the statutory cooling-off and reporting windows that apply to the sale.
5.4 No commission is due, and any provisional commission already recorded is reversed, on any order that is cancelled, refunded, returned, charged back, undelivered, returned to sender, or found to be fraudulent or placed in breach of these Rules. This applies even after the 14-day buffer has passed. Where an order is later refunded under the Consumer Protection Act (for example a defective-goods claim) or reversed by a card chargeback, we may reverse or recover the commission on that order at any time.
6. Getting paid
6.1 We pay validated commission by EFT, to a South African bank account in your name, in Rand. We do not pay to international accounts.
6.2 Payouts are not a salary and do not follow a fixed date, cycle or schedule. We settle validated commission from time to time, at our discretion, once it has passed the minimum in clause 6.3. Payment follows sales and is not a wage. You are not entitled to be paid on any particular day or at any particular interval.
6.3 We pay once your validated commission reaches a minimum of R250. Below that, it carries over until the threshold is met.
6.4 We may withhold or delay payment while we investigate suspected fraud or a breach of these Rules.
7. How you may and may not promote
7.1 You must clearly disclose that your content is advertising wherever you promote us with a tracking link, using a visible label such as #Ad or #Sponsored, placed where a viewer sees it before they engage. This is required by the ARB Code and both of us are responsible for it.
7.2 You must represent Bargain Breeze honestly and lawfully at all times. You may state only what is true and only what we have published. You must not lie, exaggerate, invent or make up any claim about our products, prices, stock, delivery times, business or anything else. You must not disparage us, run us down, or say anything false, misleading or damaging about us, our products or any other person. Do not invent health, medical or performance claims. If we have not published it, do not say it.
7.3 You must not send spam. Any email or SMS marketing must go only to people who have opted in, must identify you, and must offer a working unsubscribe. Do not buy, rent or scrape contact lists. You are responsible under POPIA for any personal information you collect or use.
7.4 You must not bid on "Bargain Breeze" or any close variation or misspelling as a keyword in Google Ads, Bing Ads or any paid search.
7.5 You must not use cookie stuffing, fake clicks, forced clicks, bots, automated scripts, incentivised or misleading traffic, or any other method that games the tracking.
7.6 You must not impersonate Bargain Breeze. You may not create websites, domains, social accounts, handles, email addresses or ad accounts that pose as us or suggest you are us.
7.7 You must not promote us alongside or through content that is illegal, adult, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise likely to damage our reputation.
7.8 Only use discount codes we issue to you or publish. Do not create or leak codes.
8. Use of our brand and materials
8.1 We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Bargain Breeze name, logo and any creative we give you, only to promote the Programme and only while you are an active affiliate and in line with these Rules.
8.2 All product images, descriptions, feeds and other materials remain ours. You may not scrape or bulk-copy our catalogue. If you leave the Programme or it closes, you must stop using our brand and delete any product data we supplied within 14 days.
9. Changing, pausing or closing the Programme
9.1 Because this is a trial, we may change these Rules, change the commission rate, pause the Programme, or close it entirely, at any time, on notice by email or WhatsApp or by posting the change on our site.
9.2 If we change the commission rate or terms, the change applies to sales made after the change. Carrying on as an affiliate after a change means you accept it.
9.3 If we close or you leave the Programme, we still pay all commission validated and owing to you on legitimate sales up to that point. We do not owe you anything else. There is no notice pay, no compensation for ending the Programme, and no guaranteed or minimum income at any stage.
9.4 We may suspend or remove you immediately, and withhold or reverse commission, if you breach these Rules, if you are unable to take part without ongoing support or management (see clause 2.7), or if we reasonably suspect fraud.
9.5 Spots are limited and this is a trial, so we run it with active promoters only. If your link brings in no traffic and no sales for a continuous period of 30 days, we may suspend or end your participation to free up the spot. This is not a target and we do not direct how you promote. It simply means dormant accounts do not stay open. Any commission already validated and owing to you is still paid.
10. Eligibility
10.1 You must be 18 or older, resident in South Africa, and have a South African bank account in your own name. You must handle your own tax affairs. If you are applying as a business, it must be properly registered and able to invoice us.
11. Liability and indemnity
11.1 We provide the Programme and its tracking as is. We do not guarantee any level of sales, income, uptime or tracking accuracy beyond what our system records.
11.2 Our total liability to you under the Programme is limited to the commission validated and owing to you.
11.3 You indemnify us against any claim, fine, loss or cost we suffer because of how you promoted us or because you breached these Rules, including claims under POPIA, the CPA, the ARB Code or advertising or platform rules.
12. General
12.1 We keep records relating to the Programme, including affiliate details and payout records, for at least three years, in line with the CPA and POPIA.
12.2 These Rules are governed by South African law, and the courts of the Western Cape have jurisdiction.
12.3 If any part of these Rules is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
